Family vacation to Disney World with my family 20-25 March.?
I'm planning our first ever family vacation to Orlando, will Florida.There be two adults 2 children below the 10th I would like to stay close to Disney World for at least a 4 star resort or hotel. We want to go to at least 3 parks. Has anyone done this on a $ 1,500 budget (accommodation, food and sights). Please share any tips or advice.
My family stayed at The Animal Kindom Lodge. It was Absolutely wonderful. (I have included links) It was one of the most expensive of the hotels, but had plenty of perks. If you stay there you get into the animal kingdom park early before everyone else and they also have animals on site, and in the morning, the bull rides. Which is amazing! As this may be a bit of a budget buster a good compromise hotel would be Wilderness Lodge. BUT !!!!! Avoid "value" hotels such as All Stars Movies Resort, All-Star Movie Resort, All-Star Sports Resort, and Pop Century resort. These trends to be trashy, dirty and overcrowded. Thank goodness we only had to stay there sometime. If you try to stay at least a moderate hotel. Stay on DISNEY PROPERTY !!!!! If you stay on Disney property you will save money in the long run. They provide transportation to and from the parks, so you do not pay for rental cars. Going to Disney parks does not cost so much because it is the key ……. The more you play the less you PAY PER DAY! everyday only costs a few bucks more than the last day. If you have several other issues (Witch I'm sure you probably do) check out Disney World website, where they have tons of online planning tools, which is great! HOPE YOU Have a wonderful trip!
