Betta feeding Question ..?
I'm going to be away on vacation for a week .. maybe longer .. and I have no one to babysit my betta .. any ideas? I know goldfish have the holiday food feeders (not sure what it is called), they have them for betta too? Thanks in advance!
Ninjaaa and Evelyn are correct, your fish will be fine without food for a week or more as long as it is a healthy fish. The vacation feeders tend to foul up the water quickly and if the fish overeat it can cause problems, such as swim bladder disease, constipation or fin rot. Simple do your water change before you leave and feed him his normal quantity of food. No need to feed an extra charge.
