I want Big Sky Montana in January for a ski holiday any good recommendations as a place to say.?
I'm looking for a good place pretty nice. It should be close to ski slopes and offer short distance to nightlife and restaurants. This will be my first trip to Montana and I do not really know that much about it. Hopefully you can offer a number of recommendations as a good place to live.
I stayed at the Rainbow Ranch Lodge last time I went and it was incredible! It is true the hotel is right next of a highway, but I'm not here any traffic noise as a room facing the pond and rivers are very well insulated. My very clean room, a pond-side deluxe, had two bedrooms, a small bathroom with whirlpool bath and a terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The complimentary cookies were very welcome after a hard day's skiing and clothes very useful after a long soak in the wonderful oversized hot tub. Little touches in the room like some of the unique jewelry turned out that someone has taken the thoughtful embellishment. The main lodge is fantastic and the food some of the best I've ever been served in Montana. Service was unobtrusive and great wine list. Highly recommended and a place I will return. Plus it is only 20 minutes from the slopes!
