Advice for Disneyland, CA vacation (late autumn or early spring)?
We would like to purchase our first Disneyland vacation for either September or January next year .. that month would be best (like hot weather)? We prefer to avoid crowds of people and not stand in line for hours. Is a second time this year that would be better than in September or mid-January? Where is the best place to live near Disneyland, CA (hotel) – we have nothing against to go (is it safe and close by?) .. Disney hotels are worth the price? We were also looking at booking a package deal also visit SeaWorld or Universal Hollywood but was not sure what to see, or if it was too 'mature' for our 3 years old. Any info and tips are much appreciated! This will be our first time to California, and is very very happy! One of the hotels we were looking at the Hyatt Regency Irvine, how would anyone rate this hotel? Is there a better? Should we Rent a car, or is there transportation? We are always up for an adventure!
September or January, generally good crowd-wise. Kids are back in school, so parks are not so busy. The downside to this is that sites often taken offline during these times of renovation. September: Small World will be closed. Sentenced to open late November Haunted Mansion will be closed in the mid to late September to install the Holiday overlay. rumored closure of Indiana Jones. January: Small World will close usually late January to remove the Holiday overlay. Haunted Mansion will close in mid-January to remove the Holiday overlay.
