I "won" a vacation from Great Vacations Destination. All others who offered it? Is it a scam?
I entered my name for a drawing, and I won a holiday for four and all I have to pay the promotional fee. It includes flights, car hire and holidays. Has anyone ever won a trip from them and it is a scam? Any help would be great!
Someone tried this scam on me once too. They immediately requested a credit card number to charge me a "little publicity and registration fee" to claim my prize. Because I was not comfortable giving them my card number, I simply asked if I could come down to their office and claim my prize in person. They fumbled around trying to tell me that if I gave my credit card number I would immediately lose my prize. When I kept refusing, they finally lost patience, and it got ugly. It's when I knew they were scammers. Just be sure to ask lots of questions.
