Extensive Camping Check List For Your next camping trip

This camping checklist is based of what my family packed when we went for 6 weeks – going from Victoria to Alice Springs, Tanami Track to The Kimberley, around Gibb River Road, over to Katherine and down Stuart Hwy to Victoria, about 10,000 km with 2 adults, 3 teens in a Nissan Patrol 4WD and roof rack bag.
I've added a couple extra that we do not, but is optional for other travelers I've marked the big issues we do not train with an asterisk *

EQUIPMENT
___Tent Including poles, pegs, guy ropes and pegs, fly. Plastic pegs for sand,
metal pegs tents usually come with lightweight pegs to bend in hard
conditions, consider buying heavyweight metal sticks.
___Ground Sheets – cut a bit smaller than the bottom of the tent)
___Extra Tarp and rope to make the shade or rain protection cover

SLEEPING GEAR
___Mattress – Air bed & pump, foam, self inflating
___Sleeping Bags or sheets, blankets, Doona
___Pillow & Pillowcases

Tables & CHAIRS
___Camp Table – because preparing food
___Extra Table to sit around or play games
___Chairs – Foldable and comfortable

___Fridge / Cooler
___Stove & Stand, gas hose and fittings
