Droid eris battery discharging wothout use?
I recently upgraded my Eris to froyo with the conap rom, which is suppost to fix issues with the battery. But it hasn’t and ill take my pone to school and it’ll die by noon without me even touching it. There’s no service on it and its not activated. GPS Bluetooth and wifi are all off Andrew its on airplane mode. I turned off the keyboard vibrations and dimmed the screen. I also checked for running processes. There are only the manditory ones running. Buy still no fix. Right now I’m getting the phone ready for me to recalibrate the battery. If this doesn’t work what other steps can I take to fix this. A 4 hour battery is completely unreasonable when the phone is only a few months old
Your battery is probably messed up, i recommend turning it off when your not using it if your not planning on buying a new battery, this is a pain but you don’t have much of an option, also the battery is the #1 prob with this phone so this might have to do with that, though it does seem to even me pretty ridiculous for a 4 hour battery life, if this problem continues search up your local customer service center and take it there for some help.
