My laptop headphone jack isn't working?
I dont know what is wrong with it that I can connect headphones, but the music, or what I was gonna listen to come out from the speakers. I know its not the headphones cuz i have tryed lots of them and they all work but not on my laptop. I have an HP Pavilion dv6000, if it means anything. OH and if this issue also, I have windows ultimate 7 beta on my computer now, but it was working fine after I downloaded it. began acting in this way 2 or 3 months later when I got on the plane and tried to use it.
Hi Michelle, this seems to be no software issues but more likely a hardware issue of the headphone jack. If you've tried several headsets on the same port and does not work, it is bad. Better get the same controlled by HP support (if under warranty) or you can contact a local garage as well. Good Luck. Wireless ..:)
