Afford to take the little dog on the plane?
I move to another state next week and will take my three year old pom on the plane with me. She will be under the seat in front of me for almost two hours. I do not want to sedate her because I have heard bad things about it. She has been a box trained all his life, but the bag is much smaller than her box. I was thinking about trying to get her used to the bag first, get her Kong toy to play with indoors, and playing with her a lot before we leave, so she is obviously tired. Any other ideas?
I have taken several dogs on the plane, make sure not to feed the dog about 4 hours before taking the plane, so the dog does not get sick. all of them, I took the elderly and the puppies were quite the whole trip. I think to ride put them to sleep.
