How do I remove a decal from a plastic model and recycle it properly?
I am building a plastic model airplane right now and I just finished to place the decals. After they dried, I inspected my work and realized that one of the decals were placed upside down on the airplane. So I would like to know on still has some ways to remove decal and reapplying it so that it sticks properly. Thanks
As "Helicopter" said … once a decal / Transparency is on and DRY … it stuck! I've tried over the last 33 years to loosen them with wet Qtips, Qtips moist with decal solvent relaxation in water in a water / vinegar mixture … it NEVER works well. My only suggestions is to write the manufacturer and buy a replacement set of decals … OR buy some "after-market" decals from your hobby shop. Good luck
